My stay at the Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach was a mixed experience. While the room was spacious, comfortable, and offered fantastic ocean views, the hotel had some significant issues that detracted from the overall luxury feel. Although the staff was friendly and accommodating, I encountered a lingering, musty smell in my first room, which required a frustrating number of room changes that didn’t resolve the issue. Overall, I appreciated the location and amenities but found it lacked the polish of a true luxury escape.
